Here's the schedules of some of the clubs that we run with.

The First Annual Open Track Challenge - May 12-18.  Seven Tracks in Seven Days, about ten different classes to compete in for fast laps at each track.  Winners of the class get a trophy, and more importantly, all future Open Track Challenges will have their name on the trophy for the class winners.  www.opentrackchallenge.com is the website.

Touring Car Racing Association - Time Trial and wheel-to-wheel sprint races. You will need seat belts/helmet for time trial groups, and rollbar/cage/nomex/window net/helmet for race group.  Typical weekend is on Saturday you get three or four sessions, each 20-30 minutes long of practice.  On Sunday, you get one or two sessions of practice, then a 10-12 lap sprint race for the race group, and the time trialers get about 3-5 timed laps. www.touringcarclub.com is the website.  They have sessions for beginners.

Open Track Motorsports - They are the NASA-Los Angeles Chapter, and their website is at www.open-track.com.    Time Trial and wheel-to-wheel sprint races.  Typical weekend is on both Saturday and Sunday you get three or four sessions, each 20-30 minutes long of practice.

Wurthmotorsports/Bitterman Time Trials - Time Trial event, including an S2000 Challenge series.  www.wurthmotorsports.com is their website.

Alfa Romeo Club of Southern California - Time Trial and wheel-to-wheel sprint races. You will need five point harness and fire extinguisher and helmet for time trial groups, and rollbar/cage/nomex/window net for race group.   Typical weekend is on Saturday you get three or four sessions, each 20-30 minutes long of practice.  On Sunday, you get one or two sessions of practice, then a 10-12 lap sprint race, and the time trialers get about 5 timed laps. They have sessions for beginners. http://www.arosc.org/ is their website.

KRC Cup Series - So you think you are hot shit and know how to drive?  Then try driving in the KRC Cup Series, and you will find out that you don't know squat about driving fast on the edge.  You can buy your own 125 cc, six speed Tony Kart for about $7500, and pay about $200 a day to race in the "arrive and drive" KRC Cup Series.  This is an "arrive and drive" series, so you can just show up at the track, do your practice sessions, compete in a couple of races, and then drive home.  KRC brings maintains and brings the karts to the track for you.  0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds, and pull 2 g's in the turns!  Best Bang for the buck racing around.  And after the season, you can probably sell your used kart for a decent amount of cash.  www.kartracingco.com is their website.

Tracquest - Lots of track time.  Good catered food.  Lots of track time.  Lapping day, no formal timing. www.tracquest.com is their website.

For all clubs above, your car must past the safety inspection.  Be sure to get exact details of what your cars has to have on it WEEKS before the event, incase you have to order something.  All convertibles have to have a rollbar/rollcage.  Do not just SHOW UP at the track without pre-registering.....the event might be full and you might not be able to get in to run your car.
